Guidelines
Submission Guidelines• All submitted works must be in a narrative/storytelling format. This means that works for this anthology will primarily either be written works or comics. If contributors would like to submit in a different format while still adhering to the narrative requirement, feel free to ask the organizers about it.• This anthology has a secondary and optional creative prompt, which is the word narrative itself. Works don't necessarily have to adhere to this prompt as long as they fit the required format, but it is definitely encouraged!• For the purposes of clarity, the range of this anthology will be from 1900-1999. For this anthology, works don't have to strictly adhere to a specific decade and may even touch upon the 21st century, as long majority of the work takes place in the 20th century.• This is a SFW anthology, so please make sure to keep your submissions PG-13 at most. Please avoid graphic depictions of violence and sexual content.• The project reserves the right to deny works that include, but may not be limited to: uncritical depictions of racist/transphobic/homophobic content, genocide and/or genocide denial, fascism and the far right, uncritical depictions/romanticization of criminal organizations/oppressive regimes/governmental organizations used to aid oppression, and issues that may be too ideologically sensitive for a fandom anthology. While we allow allusions or representations of heavy themes and subjects in your work, please remember to treat the subject with sensitivity and mindfulness towards how you depict it.• That said, what counts as 'ideologically sensitive' is dependent on context, and the organizers acknowledge that nuances exist in every situation. Therefore, if you're not sure about the contents of your work, feel free to contact the organizers through Tumblr, Twitter, or email, or through the Discord server.• While general works are encouraged, shipping content is allowed.• You may combine different formats to create a single submission (ie. writing accompanied with art you personally drew). If the submission requires specific formatting (ie. writing with specific text placements), please make sure to notify the organizers during the creation process.• Each acceptance is considered an entry slot. When collaborating, you may choose to either submit your own entry while adding on to someone else's, or combine both your slots to create a single entry together.• Again, as this bears repeating: if you're not sure about something or have concerns, please contact the organizers.• With all that said, have fun! That's what this anthology's for, after all.
